Animal Management Guidelines
No animals have been destroyed specifically for our purposes. We do not condone or knowingly participate in the commercialization of wildlife products where prohibited by law. Our suppliers are licensed to import these animal skins into the United States and do not buy, trade, or sell any illegal, endangered, or any zebra skins or rugs that are not expressly permitted "Legal For Trade".
All of our game products are of sanctioned culls. Culls are necessary to protect herd lands from the devastating effects of over population. Responsible operators use the proceeds to develop waterholes and other infrastructure to ensure the survival and growth of African herds. By maximizing the return to the farmer, better control is afforded which maintains and even improves the value of animals and strengthening each species' long-term survival prospects.
Refunds and Returns
Do not return your purchase unless you have contacted us and received your RA with a return address. Packages that are returned
soiled, damaged, without a valid RA, returned to the wrong address or 15 days after the RA was issued may be refused.
Please follow the steps below for easy returns of your items:
- Contact us for your RA (Return Authorization) number and return address. Either call 630-986-7258 or e-mail
customer-service.
- Wrap up the item(s)in the original packaging or equivalent and make sure that you attach the RA to the outside of the
packaging.
- Locate a carrier that will insure and give you tracking information and send the items back to the address you are given
with your RA. This will allow the package to be traced and make it easier and quicker to process your credit.
Shipping costs on all returns are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend that all packages be sent back with UPS,
FedEx or any other carrier that can track and insure its packages. Make sure to call or e-mail us with the tracking # so we can
credit your account as soon as it arrives. When packaging the rug for return make sure to completely wrap it in the original
packaging or equivalent. Materials that have been damaged or soiled will not be accepted. If items arrive damaged you will be
notified and the items will be held for 45 days. It is the customers responsibility to file a claim with the shipper/carrier and
to instruct us concerning the disposition. If Animals on Rugs has not been notified within 45 days the items will be discarded
and no credit issued.
Refunds (less S/H) will be made and returns will be accepted only within ten days of receipt of the purchased item(s). Item(s)
must be returned in their original condition. Please contact Animals on Rugs for a return shipping address and
authorization number. Any non-defective returned item may be subject to a restocking charge of 20% of the purchase price.
Do not return any item(s) without contacting Animals on Rugs. C.O.D. returns will not be accepted. If any purchased item
arrives damaged, please notify the delivery carrier immediately and contact Animals on Rugs.
Merchandise that is returned following the above policy will be eligible for credit.
Shipping
With the ever-increasing cost of fuel prices, shipping charges keep rising. All our prices include standard shipping and we have your purchase shipped directly from our suppliers to your home to help reduce the total shipping cost. Expedited shipping and shipments to Canada require extra fees.
Terms of Use Statement
You understand and agree that the owners of this site shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data or other intangible losses (even if the owners of this site have been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from the use or the inability to use the product(s) and or service(s) or any misuse of the product(s)and or service(s) in a manner not in accordance with their intended use.
When you place an order and accept delivery you also agree to assume any liability and legal fees incurred by Animals on Rugs concerning the sale or possession of the wildlife products offered on this site. Our policy is to offer for sale only legally
imported wildlife products. The buyer must assume the responsibility for abiding by local statutes concerning the purchase and possession of imported wildlife products. Offer for sale void where prohibited by law.
